Open to all players of trombone, euphonium baritone and tuba, this workshop offers a unique afternoon with the internationally acclaimed trombone quartet. All ages and playing abilities welcome.
Followed by an evening concert by Bones Apart (combined workshop/concert ticket available)

About Bones Apart
Bones Apart is a highly acclaimed trombone quartet based in the UK. Followng its formation in 1999, the quartet rapidly gained international recognition as a leading brass chamber ensemble, performing its unique and diverse repertoire to audiences worldwide.
Sarah Williams, Helen Vollam, Becky Smith and Jayne Murrill bring together a wealth of performing experience at the very highest level, from symphony and chamber orchestra, early and contemporary music, to brass band and jazz.
Bones Apart is committed to raising the profile of the trombone as a chamber music instrument by demonstrating its remarkable versatility. Through commissioning new works and skilful arrangements Bones Apart has expanded not only the repertoire but the boundaries of brass chamber music, widening its appeal to an ever increasing audience.
In 2001 Bones Apart won the Royal Over-Seas League competition Ensemble Prize, the Rio Tinto Prize and the Philip Jones Award. They have performed at the Edinburgh International Festival, Wigmore Hall, St Martin in the Fields, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Symphony Hall Birmingham and Fairfield Halls, in addition to multiple broadcasts on BBC television, BBC Radio3 and Classic FM.
Bones Apart gives recitals, masterclasses and education workshops worldwide and has appeared at the Juilliard School of Music, Chicago College of Performing Arts, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Wells Cathedral School and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. They have toured extensively throughout Europe, the USA, Cayman Islands and Japan.
