Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers

Saturday 13 February 2027, 3pm

Tonbridge Parish Church

With the Lydian Orchestra, conducted by Jonathan Crowhurst

Join us for a special screening of Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers, accompanied by a live performance of its much‑loved soundtrack. Experience every comic twist, daring chase and penguin‑related plot in a whole new way as the Lydian Orchestra brings Aardman’s Academy Award‑winning classic to life.

Before the film you will also hear a selection of well-known family film music. Expect nostalgia, laughs and some brilliant playing from the region’s most talented young musicians.

After the performance, Kent Music will host a Meet the Instruments session where children can try out different instruments and learn about lessons and local musical opportunities.

When money troubles prompt Wallace to take in a lodger, life at West Wallaby Street gets complicated for poor Gromit. Forced out of his room to make way for a cool-as-a-cucumber penguin called Feathers McGraw, it’s not long before he feels well and truly usurped as Wallace’s faithful companion.

There’s something not right about this penguin and when Gromit spots a ‘Wanted’ poster for a criminal ‘chicken’, it would seem his suspicions are correct. Meanwhile, the helpless Wallace finds himself under Feathers’ control – quite literally! The dastardly penguin has adapted Wallace’s Techno Trousers for his latest heist and he’s going to get Wallace to carry out his dirty work…
